For the application of electrocatalysis, electrochemical system MUST BE developed. Membrane electrode assembly (MEA) cell is novel electrochemical system aimed at improving energy efficiency and mass transport limitations, but the underlying chemistry in the MEA cell is still vague. One of the major obstacles to electrocatalysis applications is that knowledge from the lab-scale system is incompatible with harsh and abrupt reaction atmosphere of the MEA system. Therefore, our group is interested in linking lab-scale reaction with commercially-relevant system. We named this research ‘Chemistry in device!’. |
